About
A little about myself:
I am the wife of Michael and the mom of 6 incredible humans (I may be a bit biased). After the birth of my first son, all things birth became interesting to me. I was in awe of how my body could grow a baby, birth a baby, and nourish a baby. As I continued to have babies, a passion grew.
Ten years ago, a friend that knew about my desire to become a doula, showed up on my doorstep to tell me she was pregnant and I had myself my first client.
That set me up to begin the process of becoming DONA certified
and more recently I became certified as a Body Ready Method Pro! If you haven’t heard about One Strong Mama or how preparing your body for labor and birth can be a game changer, we have to chat. I am so excited to share this information with my clients.

I love birth work. I love watching people become parents, families grow, and women find strength they didn't even know they had.
When I am not attending births, I enjoy hiking, going to museums, and spending time on the beach with my people.
Services & Pricing
I have a flat fee of $1,500
Consultation:
A phone call or a meet up; this is an opportunity for us to chat and see if we are compatible. This is a great time to discuss how your pregnancy has been and what you envision for your labor and birth.
My Services:
Doula Support:
3 prenatal visits. These can be in your home or at another convenient location (a coffee shop or library).
1 prenatal visit will include a BRM assessment.
Support through text, phone call, or email.
I will come to your home once you feel labor support is needed. That can look like needing help with managing pain or just having emotional support as your labor begins.
I will stay with you while you labor until your baby is born.
Immediate postpartum care. Once you've delivered baby, I will stay with you until you are settled in. Usually, 1-2 hours, longer if you need.
1 Postpartum visit. Within the first few weeks of baby being born, I will come to visit. This is a great time to discuss your labor and how you are feeling.
My care for you doesn't end once you are home and settled. You can still call or text. Simply being a mom for 26 years, gives me the experience to share with others and I love encouraging other moms.

Why Hire a Doula?
Doula is Greek for female servant. As your doula, my goal is to come along side and provide support throughout your pregnancy, while you labor, and even into your fourth trimester (once your baby is born).
